Finnish CupofTherapy Taps FanGirl Consulting for U.S., Canada

The Finnish CupofTherapy concept has selected FanGirl Consulting & Brand Management, LLC as its licensing agent in U.S. and Canada.

CupOfTherapy introduces themes of wellbeing and mental health through distinctive and approachable animal figures. CupOfTherapy has become a social media phenomenon since the launch of its original book CupOfTherapy (Tilkkanen terapiaa), which was published in 2017 by the Finnish publishing house Otava. In 2018, MUJI published the book under the title Dai Jo Bu, translated “Is Everything OK?”. The brand’s therapeutic drawings and striking texts were developed as a combined effort by psychotherapy professionals Antti Ervasti and Elina Rehmonen together with awarded and internationally recognized artist and illustrator Matti Pikkujämsä. The CupofTherapy concept encourages people to reflect on their life and find comfort, encouragement, and joy in simple things as well and acknowledges the importance of having dialogue around important mental health issues.

FanGirl Consulting & Brand Management will oversee the following activities in the U.S. and Canada:

· all consumer product categories

· promotional partnerships

· QSR/HBA and other licensed consumables

· all pet categories including toys, accessories, and food

A special focus on those categories and retailers that support and promote mental wellbeing will be considered along with a “give back” component built into these partnerships as part of the sales revenue will be donated to promote mental health work.

The FanGirl team will be attending the New York Toy Fair February 16-19, 2019 and will be actively setting appointments to discuss potential collaborations.
