MGA Entertainment revealed a new partnership with Terracycle on Global Recycling Day that will make it even easier for L.O.L. Surprise! fans and collectors to recycle their product packaging.
Toy owners can start saving their wrappers, bags, balls, trays, and more in any cardboard box. When ready to ship their waste, consumers can simply download a self-funded TerraCycle tracking label, seal the box, and send it to TerraCycle for recycling.
The program will kick off in the U.S. this May, and roll out internationally later this year.
The program launches with L.O.L. Surprise! but all MGA products and packaging will soon be recyclable as well.
MGA Entertainment’s CEO Isaac Larian announced the partnership through LinkedIn, adding “We all must do our part to save this beautiful planet for the next generation. #Globalwarming is NOT as hoax.”
