Mister Rogers Neighborhood Welcomes New Partners

Brand Central and Fred Rogers Productions add new “neighbors” to the consumer products program for Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

A range of new licensing partners, including Penguin Random House, are helping extend last year’s 50th anniversary celebration with new product introductions. Products will help generate excitement for the brand on the heels of the documentary, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, and ahead of this year’s Sony Pictures’ film, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. The film stars Tom Hanks as Fred Rogers.

Joining the roster of standout licensing partners for Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood are:

    • Penguin Random House, Running Press, Insight Editions, and Papersalt – publishing and stationery
    • Good Luck Sock, JY Design and Creations, and Socksmith – socks
    • Buffalo Games – games and puzzles
    • Brown Trout – calendars
    • Little Shop of Pins – enamel pins
    • Pyramid America and Trends International – posters and wall decor

“Mister Rogers is an icon of love, encouragement and kindness with messages that remain relevant to fans both young and old today. We are excited to add these fantastic partners to our wonderfully successful program,” said Ross Misher, CEO of Brand Central. “We are thrilled to be ramping up for the release of the feature film this November and look forward to the continued passion for the brand by new fans and old fans alike.”

Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood is a multiple award-winning series that has been nominated for the 2019 International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) Award for Best Brand in the Entertainment/Character – Live Action category.
