Carson Dellosa Education, a leading supplier of educational materials to teachers and classrooms, acquired Kids Station Toys, a manufacturer of musical instruments and interactive musical toys. With the acquisition, Carson Dellosa becomes a youth electronics licensee for the Fisher-Price brand.
“The partnership that Kids Station Toys has forged with Fisher-Price is very exciting, and our acquisition will allow Carson Dellosa to expand our product portfolio with a world-class brand that believes in our educational mission,” said Ira Hernowitz, CEO of Carson Dellosa.
The toy line includes more than 30 items, such as the Rockstar Guitar, Dancin’ Tunes Music Mat, Elephant Piano, and Music Kids Studio.
“We are thrilled to partner with Carson Dellosa. With their long history of commitment to education and fun, we know that this partnership will help ensure the significance of hands-on learning,” said Diane Reichenberger, vice-president of consumer products and global strategy at Mattel.
“We know that learning comes in many forms and variations, and the hands-on, auditory experiences available from this line of musical toys will offer children the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of learning beyond the classroom,” added Hernowitz.
