JAKKS Pacific has entered into a multi-year, global toy licensing deal with SEGA of America, Inc. to manufacture, market, and distribute its Sonic the Hedgehog video game brand. The line will be showcased at Toy Fair New York later this week.
The line of Sonic the Hedgehog toys, which will debut at Toy Fair, will feature action figures, playsets, plush, collectibles, and novelty items. The Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball Track Setbrings the video game to life, featuring customizable track to send the Sonic Spheres heading through loops and turns. The set comes with an exclusive Sonic Sphere and removable figure.
The global launch (except Asia) of Sonic the Hedgehog toys will be available at retail this fall for ages 3 and up.
