Jurassic World Captivz Clash Edition to Make U.S. Debut

Jurassic World-Captivz

Australian toymaker ToyMonster is launching its Jurassic World Captivz Clash Edition in the U.S. The new line of dinosaur collectibles hits shelves in time for the holiday season in November.

“We’ve been blown away by the massive fan response to our Captivz line,” said ToyMonster global head of brand and marketing. “Now, we’re excited to roll-out the new Clash Edition for the holiday season. Jurassic World fans will go crazy for the epic detail and the most sought-after dinosaur figures.”

Each of the Captivz Clash Edition Slime Eggs includes one Pop N’ Lock dinosaur, slime, battle token, and collector battle guide. The new line features 30 species from the Jurassic World franchise, paint detail depicting battle wounds from Clash movie moments, six rare dinosaurs with metallic finish, stretchy lava-inspired red slime, and more battle play options. Slime Eggs will be sold at Walmart, Five Below, and Meijer.

To celebrate the Captivz Clash Edition launch, ToyMonster partnered with Jurassic World‘s fan site Jurassic Outpost to host promotions for fans, including an October 4 pre-sale, as well as a Captivz Clash Edition Slime Egg giveaway on November 1.

“The detail and accuracy of the Captivz dinosaurs are unrivaled at their scale and price, and ToyMonster’s continued engagement with fans has led to many exciting additions and updates as each new wave hits shelves,” said Jurassic Outpost co-founder Chris Pugh. “We’ve been a fan of the Jurassic World Captivz lineup since launch, and are incredibly excited to team up with ToyMonster to help even more fans discover these collectibles.”

The arrival of Captivz Clash Edition follows the premiere of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous season three on Netflix this past May. Over the next year, ToyMonster plans to introduce new dinosaur species and other addition to the Captivz range, ahead of the June 22 theatrical release of Jurassic World: Dominion.
