Beacon Media Group announced the addition of Nunzio Appio as vice-president, video activation and strategy, beginning March 2019.
In his new position, Nunzio will oversee the national video team, along with lead, strategize and manage all national video upfront and scatter partnerships on behalf of Beacon Media’s clients.
Nunzio will also be a key player in strategic partnerships and company growth.
Nunzio is a media sales veteran, and previously served as Sales Director at A4 Media and Data solutions and spent 15 years at Turner, formerly Turner Broadcasting, in integrated ad sales and marketing. During his time at Turner, Nunzio oversaw an array of client’s and secured multi-platform advertising marketing partnerships on networks such as Cartoon Network and Boomerang, and managed client lists of more than $80 million in revenue across toy, video game, movie studio, and apparel.

Nunzio will officially join Beacon Media Group on March 4, 2019.
Earlier in February, ChizComm acquired Beacon Media, a leading buyer of kids’ TV media in North America. As a part of that transaction, Harold Chizick, CEO and founder of ChizComm, took on the added role as CEO of Beacon Media. Shelly Hirsch and Tom Horner will both remain at Beacon Media as co-chairmen of the business, overseeing business as usual at the New Jersey headquarters along with the current staff.
