MGA and Crayola Sign Multi-Year Agreement for Toys and Licensing Globally

MGA Entertainment (MGA), one of the largest and fastest growing privately held toy and entertainment companies in the world, and Crayola, the company that has inspired artistic creativity in children for more than 100 years, has announced a multi-year agreement for MGA Entertainment to produce and distribute Crayola-inspired dolls and licensed merchandise globally under its L.O.L. Surprise! Loves brand. Terms of the deal are not disclosed. “We are excited to bring two iconic brands together that kids and parents love,” said Isaac Larian, Founder and CEO, MGA Entertainment. “The Crayola brand challenged the L.O.L. Surprise! team to design new toys that would engage kids’ creativity and provide a new colorful way to play with the dolls.”

Steiff Celebrates Global James Bond Day with new Villainous Bond Bear

Steiff, the inventors of the teddy bear, first brought James Bond to life in teddy bear form earlier this year with their Limited Edition James Bond “Dr. No” Musical Bear. The Dr. No Numbered Edition is a beautifully made musical bear with an internal wind-up musical box (a unique Steiff attribute), that plays the iconic 007 theme tune. The bear was crafted by hand in a limited edition of 3,000 bears, of which few are still available at Steiff and 007.com. Few figures are as iconic as the original international man of mystery, secret agent James Bond, cutting a sophisticated picture in his immaculate suit. The character is so widely beloved that all things Bond are celebrated annually on October 5th, in an homage to the date of the World Premiere of the first James Bond Film Dr. No on October 5th, 1962.
