Epoch Names Former MGA Exec as CEO

Epoch Everlasting Play, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan’s Epoch Co., appoints Jeff Cheslik as the company’s new CEO.

“I am honored to join the EPOCH family and help deliver on their mission to provide children with toys that will teach the important values of family, love and nature. These values will in turn nurture the minds of children and their future children with gentleness and kindness,” says Cheslik. “The mission fits the core values I believe should be at the foundation of every toy company and I am proud to be a part of sharing that message through play.”

Cheslik has extensive toy industry experience and a proven track record of success with key retail partners and major brands. Most recently, he served as vice-president of sales for MGA Entertainment. Prior to that, he held a variety of sales and management positions with strong consumer brand companies including Kids II, Paramount Home Entertainment, Bandai/Namco Entertainment America, and VTech.

Cheslik began his toy industry career in 1985 at The Lego Group, where he rose to the position of National Account Manager for several national mass retailer accounts.

Throughout his career he has directly managed Walmart, Target, Amazon, and other key national, regional and business development accounts while also managing and developing top talent.
