Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Licensing Program Expands with Renewed, New Partners

Fred Rogers Production expands the licensing program for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Renewed partnerships with Church & Dwight (oral care), CPS (customized apparel), Jakks Pacific (master toy licensee), and Party City Holdings (party decorations) along with new licensees ASO (bandages and first aid products), Cra-Z-Art (craft and activity), Handcraft (underwear), and York Wallcoverings (wall decals) will bring new products to consumers throughout the U.S. Offerings from the new licensees will begin rolling out at retail in spring 2019. The deals were brokered by  9 Story Brands, the worldwide licensing agent for Fred Rogers Production.

Hasbro to Sponsor Anti-Bullying Singing Competition

Hasbro will sponsor a national singing competition for middle and high school students, I Have A Voice, as part of its own #BeFearlessBeKind philanthropic initiative. The competition was created by the anti-bullying nonprofit No Bully, for which Hasbro is also a partner.

Entries must be filmed and uploaded to YouTube with the hashtags #IHaveaVoice and #NoBully. Entries must be uploaded by Jan. 15, 2019 and will be judged by:

McDonald will visit the school where the winning student(s) attend and perform a 30-minute concert in the Spring of 2019. The winner will be announced March 1, 2019.

“We want to encourage kids to ignite compassion and build voices of tolerance and empathy in others at school and online, and this is the perfect platform to do so,” said Will McCoy, CEO of No Bully.
