Singing Machine Debuts Carpool Karaoke Mic

Singing Machine has partnered with CBS Consumer Products to debut Carpool Karaoke, the Mic at New York Toy Fair. The Carpool Karaoke Mic will be the first consumer product to hit the market in partnership with Carpool Karaoke, the TV segment in which Late Late Show host James Corden takes a ride with famous musicians and other celebrities for a sing-along while driving.

The Carpool Karaoke Mic wirelessly connects to your cell phone and car stereo so you can hear your voice over the car’s speaker system while streaming favorite songs from music apps including Spotify, Pandora or YouTube.

Singing Machine CEO Gary Atkinson commented, “As the worldwide leader in home consumer karaoke products, we’re thrilled to be partnering with CBS and Carpool Karaoke to be the first to deliver a line of products for use in the car that are in the spirit of the segment’s fun and engaging energy.”

Singing Machine Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing Bernardo Melo added, “Carpool Karaoke is a global, viral phenomenon that is all about the joy of music and singing. We believe Carpool Karaoke, the Mic is the perfect complement to our Singing Machine brand, and we can’t wait to bring a unique twist to the Carpool Karaoke universe.”

At Toy Fair New York, visitors will be able to experience the Carpool Karaoke Mic first-hand inside a Mercedes Benz G550 Wagon in the North Concourse of the Jacob Javits Center.
