My Arcade and Konami Cross Media NY will partner to create a new line of collectible players for Konami’s Contra.
Available as a compact desktop Micro Player and handheld Pocket Players, the new products are slated to launch in time for holiday.
Debuting in 1987, Contra became globally renowned for its high-octane, side-scrolling action and co-op gameplay. With the introduction of the Contra Micro Player and Pocket Player collectibles, players can team back up with elite commandos Bill Rizer and Lance Bean in compact, playable form.
